SAP Spend Connect Live is a major user conference for this world famous technology company. The event connects their most important clients to each other, SAP, and to new software innovations in the realm of total spend management.

Event Look and Feel – designing comprehensive and holistic style

We created an event look and feel, specific to SAP Spend Connect, but also integrated into a larger suite of SAP events.

In addition, we curated a robust style guide to inform the event graphics, and provide to other vendors to maintain a consistency of design.

Marketplace Design and Branding – creating an easy and fun flow for attendees

We strategically and thoughtfully designed the layout and branding of the Marketplace floor in the Venetian Ballroom so attendees could most efficiently and effectively navigate and explore the breadth of SAP’s products, services, and partners. We:

  • Worked alongside our SAP client content partner to curate the appropriate imagery and messaging for all branding opportunities throughout the Marketplace floor.
  • Curated a tastebud-tempting array of snacks, dining, and specialty coffee throughout the Marketplace floor.
  • Sourced and featured unique live entertainment on the Marketplace floor during social receptions, including a musical looping artist who created complex layers of gorgeous sound all on his own, and a brass band.
  • Recommended popular activation and sponsorship opportunities, including a professional headshot station, where we had a consistent demand throughout the entire event.

Venue Branding and Logistics – on-brand clarity

We designed all area branding outside of the Keynote and Marketplace as well, including:

  • Printed backdrops for breakout rooms.
  • Branding for registration areas and large nearby walls.
  • Entrance columns into Marketplace and wayfinding maps.
  • The Venetian’s brand-new LED screens in the foyer areas, one of which spanned more that 45 feet long!

Sponsors – keeping sponsors top-of-mind for attendees

Proscenium helped develop graphics in print and media (throughout the foyer, the Marketplace, and Keynote room) to feature all the sponsors of the event. Large area signage and videos brought to the life the logos of all levels of sponsors.

Marketplace floor snacks, coffee, lounges, and headshot station were popular sponsored areas.

Keynote – big, bold, beautiful wow

We designed an impressive and impactful stage design for the Keynote room in Hall D, to give a real “wow” factor showcasing SAP to its customers.

Our 3 massive overlapping LED screens spanned more than 140 feet wide and 18 feet tall.

We also designed all the on-screen presentations to bring SAP’s dynamic and exciting new products and services to life.

Our grand finale featured Tony Award-winner Leslie Odom, Jr., who delivered an intimate fireside chat and performed signature songs including "The Room Where It Happened" from Hamilton.

We rehearsed all executive presentations virtually prior to the event to promote a more seamless onsite experience.

Post Event Virtual Experience – highlights and insights

Alongside SAP’s internal video production team, we produced the post-event videos and graphics for SAP Spend Connect Virtual, including a nearly hour-long feature of key highlights including interviews with SAP executives and customer experts.

Inclusion & Accessibility – making everything comfortable for everyone


The entire event demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity through thoughtful additions:
  • A dedicated tranquility lounge designed for all attendees, including neurodivergent ones
  • Closed captioning on external LED screens during keynote presentations
